If you are looking for the Prem Keetanu movie trailer, cast, story, characters and release date, here is everything you need to know.
Prem Keetanu Trailer: What Is It About?
The Prem Keetanu official trailer introduces a youthful story built around friendship, first love, college madness and an increasingly complicated relationship.
At the centre of the story is Vishal, played by Veer Pahariya. His character is shown as a college student who enjoys the carefree side of student life. He is more interested in having fun, spending time with friends and getting involved in typical college adventures than following a strict routine.
His life changes when he falls for Suhani, played by Aafiya Sayed.
What initially looks like a simple college romance soon becomes complicated when Ranjeet, played by Aparshakti Khurana, enters the equation. Ranjeet appears more confident and stylish, and he also develops an interest in Suhani.
This creates the central conflict of the Prem Keetanu Trailer.
Instead of presenting the romance as a straightforward love story, the trailer uses humour, rivalry and misunderstandings to create a chaotic situation involving Vishal, Suhani and Ranjeet.
The trailer also suggests that the film will combine romantic moments with comedy, friendship and emotional situations rather than focusing only on the love triangle. Current movie information describes the film as a blend of humour, young emotion, romance, college life and the confusion that comes with growing up.
Prem Keetanu Trailer Highlights
There are several elements in the trailer that immediately establish the tone of the movie.
1. Veer Pahariya as a College Student
Veer Pahariya plays Vishal, a young college student who appears to enjoy the fun side of campus life.
The trailer presents him as someone who can be careless, emotional and easily caught up in situations involving love and friendship. His character appears to provide much of the emotional centre of the story.
2. Aafiya Sayed as Suhani
Aafiya Sayed makes her Bollywood debut with Prem Keetanu and plays Suhani.
Her character becomes an important part of the romantic conflict between Vishal and Ranjeet. The trailer shows how her presence changes the equation between the two male characters.
3. Aparshakti Khurana Brings a Different Energy
Aparshakti Khurana plays Ranjeet, the character who makes Vishal’s romantic life considerably more complicated.
Ranjeet appears confident and comfortable while trying to impress Suhani. His personality creates a contrast with Vishal and adds another layer of comedy to the story.
4. College Life and Friendship
The trailer is not limited to romance.
College life, friendships, parties, fun and youthful mistakes are all part of the film’s setting. This gives Prem Keetanu the atmosphere of a coming-of-age romantic comedy.
5. Romance Turns Into Rivalry
The biggest conflict comes from the growing competition between Vishal and Ranjeet.
Their rivalry gradually moves beyond simple romantic competition and leads to confrontations, arguments and even a physical fight in the trailer.
Prem Keetanu Story: What Does the Trailer Reveal?
The Prem Keetanu story appears to follow Vishal’s journey through college, friendship and first love.
Vishal is attracted to Suhani and begins developing strong feelings for her. However, his relationship becomes complicated when Ranjeet also attempts to win Suhani’s attention.
Ranjeet does not appear to be shy about his intentions. His confident personality and willingness to impress Suhani and her family create additional pressure for Vishal.
The resulting situation becomes a mixture of romance, jealousy, comedy and confusion.
Rather than revealing the complete story, the trailer keeps several aspects of the plot under wraps. This is useful because the film appears to depend heavily on how the relationships between the characters develop.
The trailer therefore gives viewers the basic setup without revealing how the romantic conflict will eventually be resolved.

What Makes the Prem Keetanu Trailer Interesting?
The biggest attraction of the trailer is its combination of familiar college-romance elements with a comic love triangle.
The story has several ingredients that are commonly associated with youthful romantic comedies:
- College friendships
- First love
- Romantic confusion
- Jealousy
- Rivalry
- Comedy
- Emotional moments
- Parties and youthful adventures
- Family interactions
- Friendship and growing-up experiences
The trailer also moves between light-hearted scenes and moments of conflict. This keeps the tone from becoming a straightforward romance.
Instead, Prem Keetanu appears to be using humour to explore the confusion that can come with first love and complicated relationships.
Vishal vs Ranjeet: The Main Conflict
The relationship between Vishal and Ranjeet is one of the most noticeable elements of the Prem Keetanu Trailer.
Both characters are interested in Suhani, but their personalities are quite different.
Vishal seems to approach the relationship from a more emotional perspective. Ranjeet, meanwhile, appears more confident and calculated when trying to make an impression.
This difference creates plenty of opportunities for comedy and confrontation.
As the trailer progresses, their competition becomes increasingly intense. What begins as a romantic rivalry eventually develops into open conflict.
This Vishal-Ranjeet dynamic could become one of the major sources of humour in the movie.
Prem Keetanu and Its UP-NCR Setting
Another interesting part of the movie is its setting.
The story is presented against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi-NCR region, giving the film a distinctly North Indian youthful atmosphere.
The locations complement the college-life setting and the style of the characters.
The combination of local flavour, friendship, romance and comedy is expected to give the movie its own personality rather than making it feel like a purely urban romantic drama.
Music and Overall Trailer Mood
Music also plays an important role in the presentation of Prem Keetanu.
The movie’s trailer combines romantic and energetic moments, matching the different stages of the story. The official trailer information lists music contributions from composers including Sachet-Parampara, Annkur R Pathakk and Rahul Mishra, along with several singers.
The soundtrack appears designed to support different emotions, including romance, friendship, heartbreak and youthful celebration.
This fits the overall tone established by the trailer.
Is Prem Keetanu a Remake?
There has been discussion around whether Prem Keetanu is connected to the Malayalam romantic comedy Premalu.
However, Veer Pahariya has reportedly denied that Prem Keetanu is a remake of the Malayalam film. Therefore, it is better not to describe Prem Keetanu as a remake without qualification.
For viewers, the important point is that the Prem Keetanu Trailer presents the film as its own Hindi romantic comedy, centred around college life, friendship, love and a complicated romantic equation.
What Can We Expect From Prem Keetanu?
Based on the trailer, audiences can expect a mixture of romance and comedy rather than a serious relationship drama.
The movie appears to focus on:
- Young love – Vishal’s feelings for Suhani form the emotional foundation.
- Friendship – College friends and their experiences are an important part of the setup.
- Romantic competition – Ranjeet’s involvement creates the main conflict.
- Comedy – Several scenes rely on misunderstandings, banter and character reactions.
- Heartbreak – The trailer hints that the story will also explore the emotional side of love.
- Growing up – The film appears to connect romance with the broader experience of navigating youth and relationships.
The official movie description similarly presents it as a story about finding love, understanding oneself and dealing with the messy experiences of growing up.
